San Tropez in May!

A 40th birthday is a big deal! And hopefully you're lucky enough to have someone in your life throw you an epic bash you'll never forget!  But in the case of this party nobody who was there is going to forget it either! 

This Love Sugar Cakes creation was the centerpiece of one of the biggest and most fantastic birthday parties I've ever seen. Held at Six Pack Beach, a huge sand-filled beach volleyball facility, the entire place was transformed by TM Events into a San Tropez style beach party. All 175 guests wore white and partied the day and night away sipping on champagne, eating delicious food by C Catering and listening to beats by DJ Leanne.  

At the peak of the night this 3.5ft Cristal Champagne cake was carried out to the bday boy and he was surrounded by his family while he blew out the candles! We also made 40 mini cupcakes topped with champagne bottle candles (gotta stay in theme!) and a selection of gluten-free cupcakes so everybody could get their cake fix!

This gentlemanly cake fit in perfectly with the Old Hollywood theme of the birthday party and with all the Great Gatsby craziness going on right now.
